Animation:

There was 13 episodes of a Tales of Eternia the Animation. The story does not follows the game unlike other animations. Each episodes can be found on Youtube and most of the time are divided in 2 or 3, that would make alot of links to post here.

Theme:

Title Flying
Artist Garnet Crow
Language Japanese
Lyrics http://www.mognet.net/artistinfo.php?id=80
Garnet Crow is the artist behind "Flying," the theme song for Tales of Eternia. This song is a favorite amongst Tales fans, as it begins as a slow ballad but escalates into a beautiful and inspirational melody.

System:

Cooking:

Cooking is accessible from the main menu and it is used to restore health or cure from status effects. Recipes can found in chests and ingredients can be purchased or obtained after a battle. Cooking has become a staple in the Tales series since, and it is one of the best ways to keep your party replenished and ready, next to items and spells, both of which can be in a limited supply.

Arena:

After progressing through the game, the player is able to access the arena, where they can choose to participate in a series of single or team-based battles agianst a variety of monsters and enemies. After working up through the ranks at the Arena, the player is able to engage in a special cameo battle against Cless from Tales of Phantasia. This is one of toughest battles in the game, and it will take all of the player's skill and will to perservere.

Battles:

Linear Motion Battle System(LMBS)

One of the most challenging aspects of Tales of Eternia is combat on the Battle screen, which occurs in real-time. Your party is composed of 4 characters and you must choose to control one of them in a 2D side-scrolling environment. Perform Combo hits by combining Basic attacks, Special Skills and magical spells called Craymer Artes. The easiest technique is to perform two-hit combos by pressing the same button twice: battles are typically very fast-paced and focused on action.

Tales of Eternia was the first Tales game to feature more realistically proportioned sprites, unlike those of the previous Tales of Destiny and Tales of Phantasia. Also, unlike the slow, clunky combat of the first two games, Eternia's battle engine was wrinkled out and ran very quickly and smoothly. In fact, this system worked so well, it became the basis for all following 2D Tales games, including Tales of Destiny 2, Tales of Rebirth, and the Narikiri Dungeon series.

Tales of Eternia Online:

An online version of Tales of Eternia has been released in Japan, focusing on the world of Eternia, and not the main protagonists of the actual game. This online version is to be shut down though, probably because of the little number of players.
